Ghetto Camera Rig Mk. II
Ended up in Stouffville and the surrounding areas with kristothetopher. Good times all around and we even tried out the second version of the camera rig. Also tried driving stick the first time today, and let’s just say I need practice (16 stalls in 30 minutes). A little fun with blocked numbers, and we tried the rig again in the evening. The rig needs help LOL

Last day of high school
Running around all over the place today. Ryerson to cop next month’s MetroPass; back home then out again to meet up with some friends from high school, only to end up back in 686. Then out again to STC and we ALMOST made it to IKEA after that. Tomorrow’s likely to be more of the same.

Ghetto Camera Rig Mk. I
Handed in all my work today, so no more work ‘til Finals! Met up with kristothetopher and ajaeee to get the ghetto camera rig set up. Made a run to Home Depot to get some piping and used suction cups to get it to hang off of the hood of Neil’s car. All in all, a pretty successful test run, despite nearly having the camera drop to the ground. Oh, and the damn rig shook too much. We need to fix it.

Typical Sunday: Church then something school related. Today, it was a Chemistry lab to finish off. A very long Chemistry lab, might I add. Tomorrow should be fun.

Built around the simple idea that form follows function, Hellow is not just another skateboard wrapped in a pretty package. Hello has been well thought out and designed for getting everyday skaters around the local campus, onto the board walk for surf checks & for casual rides at the local skate park. Hellow’s smaller deck size allows it to store easily in lockers, under desks or small spaces. It’s softer wheels provide good grip, while alos absorbing the bumps along the road. The trucks, with their ultra turning geometry & high rebound urethane bushings, allows for quicker turns, all of which add up to a fun & highly enjoyable ride.

Day Four of being sick, but I’m pretty much good to go I think. Feeling great today. Ended up out with the parents at Sherway Gardens. Felt weird because I haven’t spent time with my family like that in a while. Also discovered that my simple point-and-shoot can pull off a 60/1 shutter speed. As in 60 whole seconds. (I’ll let that sink in)
Earth Hour was today too, but I spent it trying out that awesome shutter speed on my camera.

Day Two of this illness. Feeling a bit better than yesterday though, because I can eat! Should be good to go by Monday if all goes well. Also heard that my friend Ryan started walking again today. He hasn’t been able to walk since November, so it’s good to hear he’s on two feet again.

Woke up with a mad sore throat. Couldn’t swallow anything for most of the day, so I’m living off of a small bit of rice I managed to eat in the evening. Hopefully this goes away soon. On antibiotics to get that crap out of my system.

Felt like naptime (it was actually a Physics Lab)
Physics Labs at 9AM suck! Pretty awesome day, though. Got in a mid-afternoon nap and then chilled with old high school friends at a Starbucks (free wifi!) for most of the day because of the rain. Also set up flickr pro and got the 360 working. Awesome day.

Mondays are Chemistry lecture days, usually followed by loafting, because that’s what I do best. I could have totally used today to get ahead with work, but no. Instead time was well wasted with Powerman at the library. Also, Domino’s Pizza is mad greasy.

Typical Sunday, minus the studying for midterms, because I’m done with those! Church and then a bit of fun with Josh and kristothetopher. Ended up around Richmond Hill and found the Rubicon (yes, the mango juice company) offices, so we used the parking lot to our advantage. Neil has the shot up here.

Finally got that stupid Biology midterm out of the way. Chemistry on Friday, so I’m still not free. Also, did a dissection for Biology today, cutting through a rat! That stuff smells nasty.
On a more pleasant note, downtown is beautiful at sunset.

Chemistry labs are, as always, a riot. Spent the rest of the day studying for Biology. I can’t wait ‘til next week Friday when I can relax a bit and not have to worry about school, if only for a few weeks.
