Day one of freedom. My uncle left for London today, so we sent him off at the airport. Otherwise, a pretty much uneventful day. Loafting FTW!
Oh wait, there was a fire downtown by Queens Quay, and we could see it from the 401 & Yonge. Smoke reached all the way to my house. So yeah, it wasn’t a completely uneventful day.

Nerd Moment: I saw this commercial when I was a kid. Curiosity got the better of me and I discovered Linux
Pixel Cloud is an eight storey tall 3D matrix of light globes that reacts in real-time to changes in environmental conditions broadcast from a worldwide network of offices.
54 days later, and eightynine was beautiful indeed.
Woke up and actually got some review done with the guys at the AMC. That quickly broke down to a McDee’s run from which we never recovered. Killed the exam regardless, and watched Charles do a backflip because of how hyper he was from being done. Caught some 31 cent scoop ice cream at Baskin Robbins and headed home after that. First year has been quite the adventure, and I’m gonna miss it. Come September, I can’t screw around like I did this year, but until then, I’ll be sleeping all day and staying up all night.

I don’t even care about this exam, I just want it to be summer already.
Study for bio, a bit of FF10, get out for chinese food, and back for more FF10. Quick review tomorrow, write exam, four months off.

Proper study session for Biology today. Also found that there are people around my neighbourhood that skate too! Tomorrow’s more of the same.

Procrastination is reading SBC’s Photo Annual instead of studying for that Biology exam.
Studying today? Nope. Family friends over today, visiting from Kuwait (that tiny country beside Iraq; we used to live there). Tomorrow I’m going all out on Biology.

Breakfast at 3 in the afternoon feels awesome. Got some studying done for that Biology exam, but only a little. The fact that I can fail this one like an 8th grader trying to do Calculus and still pass with a great mark isn’t motivating me to study at all.

Procrastination is finding your old PS2 and hooking it up to a projector to play FFX
Spent this Friday at home for once. Needed a break after the intensity of finals this week. Instead of doing something productive, like studying for my next exam, I dug up the PS2 and hooked it up to a projector to play FFX. Procrastination FTW!

Physics was the hardest exam I have ever written in my life. Never before have I been slammed to the ground so hard by an exam. If I pass, I’m going to party like it’s 1999 and I just turned 19. Everyone that came out of that exam room had the same experience as me.It got to the point where we’d wait for the next person to come out, and they’d say something along the lines of “F#@& that exam!” Every single person that came out said that. There better be a bell curve.
Chilled with Marco after the exam, walking through downtown looking for the Chinese Embassy because he needed to apply for a visa. Instead, we ended up at the nicest McDonald’s we’ve ever seen (by the ROM). More walking, only to find that the place was closed. Died on the subway after that.
Mike and m-paoword dropped by after. Good times chillin’ with those two, except we ended up doing even more walking! I’m going to collapse soon.

Mad study session for Physics today, and a breakdown. When I get out of that exam room tomorrow I am going to be so relieved. Much respect to Marco for showing me some video tutorials for Physics. It’s likely the only reason I’m not in the “OMG I’m going to fail” mood.

Chemistry exam? Done! Came home and took the longest nap, and then proceeded to avoid studying for most of the day. Got started on Physics, and I’m screwed for this exam, I’m sure of it. All I want now is to just pass Physics. After that, I’m burning all my Physics stuff. Never have to see it again (if I pass)!

I’m trying to find an old Nike Basketball commercial from the mid-2000’s. A bunch of old people have gathered in a gym/basketball court for a church service. The reverend starts, and then says “… Let there be power!” This causes one of the people in their seats to get out of their seat and dunk. Upon this, the reverend gets more evangelical, firing up the crowd to get up and start dunking. And no, this is NOT the Nike Basketball commercial with Lebron James and Bernie Mac.
Now I’ve been trying to find this commercial all over the Internet without any luck. If anyone remembers this commercial and can link to a video, I can’t stress this enough: SEND THAT LINK!Time can only go slower now that I’m so close.
Recovering from yesterday’s all-nighter means breakfast at 5PM. Spent the rest of the day studying. After Thursday, a bit of breathing room. April 28th, we’re free!

The birds are chirping, the snow is melting… WAIT WHAT?!
Didn’t do any studying today. My church had a midnight feast for everyone that was doing World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine, and while I wasn’t doing it myself, I went down to help out. BBQ at midnight turned into an epic all-nighter. And then it snowed at 6AM. That was by far the trippiest thing, because I thought I was seeing things because I hadn’t slept. Got home at 8:30AM and crashed.

I respect M.I.A.’s message in this track. The only thing that bugs the fuck out of me, is how the media has the power to turn propaganda music into a “hit.” Go figure.
